Every Easter my daughter gets lots of chocolate, Shes not a big fan of chocolate and it will last her all year, Thats if I don't start eating it, So when I was sent an email from Bottle PR about alternative Easter gifts, I couldn't wait to see what they had on offer.
I was sent a Lego star wars Darth Vader key chain torch, Its not as small as I was expecting its actually a really great size, Its fully movable just like normal Lego people you get and the torch is very bright, The Darth Vader key chain torch retails at £6.99 and is available at Tescos, You can also buy a Ninjago keylight for £6.99 from John Lewis, A Darth Vader Torch with its super detachable lightsaber for £19.99 from Smyths, There is many more items to this range all perfect for any Lego and Star Wars fans.
And for all the Moshi monster fans, They will be please to hear that their is some new products out to buy, This one I know my daughter will love, The new rang includes key chains that should be selling for £3.99, Moshi Monsters Zippsters that you can attach to your childs zips any there RRP is £1.49 and finally Moshi Monsters Charmling Bands, Each pack comes with one wristband and two charms and there RRP is £2.99
With my experience from my daughter over the past few years of her not touching her Easter eggs, I really think its worth looking for something other than chocolate for the kids, This way she can still enjoy Easter but with a lot less chocolate.

Pillow pet from Mookie toys
I was sent a Pillow Pet from Mookie toys to review, When it arrived my 5 year old daughter got very excited as I had explained that one was being sent to me to review, As soon as it was out of the box my daughter was very quick to take it off me, We was sent a panda one and My daughter said it looks so cute and its so soft.
I have barely got a look in with it as she never puts it down and always takes it to bed with her, What I have seen is that there is a velcro strap that you use to turn it into a nice fat panda and to get it into a pillow you simply un velcro it and lay it flat, What I really like is there is a bit of fabric to cover the velcro to stop it catching on any thing else.
I was a little worried that after being slept on for a few days it wouldn't go back to shape when you turn it back into a panda, But I was wrong its still nice and fat and from feeling it the stuffing hasn't gone lumpy like some pillows do sometimes.
This has been a big hit with my daughter and my son has even taken a liking to it so it looks like we will be buying him one very soon.
You can buy them from there online website for just £19.99 and you can find there site here
There is many different designs to chose from so theres something for everyone
Also take a look at Pillow pets facebook page here

Half term already
Well today is the last day of school for my daughter, I don't think she will be happy as she loves school and really misses her friends, But this half term I have prepared some activities to keep her busy. (Fingers crossed nothing spoils my plans)
So here is what I have planned for her and my son, My sister got me an Argos cataloge because she works for them and thought I would want one, I never use a cataloge so I was just going to put it in the recyling bin but then a thought popped in my head, So what I will be doing with it is cutting out lots of the pictures and then the kids can use them to make there own pictures.
My next thing planned for them is, My daughter got a plaster of paris magnet set (well 2)for her birthday last may, They have never been used so I will be digging them out for her and her brother to have a go with.
And what half term wont be complete without a bit of baking with the kids, I have cookies and Banana muffins planned to make with them.
Still doing all this will only take up 4 days with them but I'm hoping the weather might be nice enough for us to all take a walk round the fields where we live.

Meet family member number 6
So this is family member number 6, His name is Mr Ginney, The name was chosen by our 5 year old daughter as we brought him for her Christmas present, Only she got him in October.
My daughter had been asking for a guinea pig for a while after reading one of her school books about a child that wanted one, So we did a lot of research on guinea pigs and found that they are the best small pets for children (We was also told this by the pet shop too)
So one Saturday back in October when my daughter was with my parents me, my husband and our other two kids went to Pets at home to get all the things we would need for a guinea pig, We had originaly planned on getting the guinea pig at the end of November but while we was in the pet shop we couldn't resist having a look at the guinea pigs they had, Big mistake for us as we fell in love with Mr Ginney and knowing that he wouldn't be there come the end of November we decided to buy him right away.
When we got home with him we set up his cage and hid him in our room our plan was to keep him hidden away till Christmas day, It didn't last long sadly as I had compleatly forgot and asked my daughter to go put something in my room and while doing this she saw him in his cage, So we decided she could have him early, She was so happy that she couldn't wait to tell all her friends at school.
My daughter is very good at looking after him, At 5 years old we really thought we would end up doing everything for him but she has proved us wrong, Everyday after her dinner she goes and gives him his food, fresh veg and hay, But asks us for help when changing his water as she can't quiet reach the kitchen sink, While shes feeding him she gives him a fuss and gets to hold him when one of us is around as he likes to try and make a run for it sometimes.
I would definately recommend a guinea pig to anyone wanting to get there child a small pet.
