Introduction into Green Nippers and their products:
Green Nippers are a relatively new organic baby clothing company, launching their Debut Collection in December 2009.
Green Nippers collections are made from 100% organic cotton, they are ethically made and eczema friendly too. For consumer peace of mind all the Green Nippers products are certified by the Soil Association, so that they know what they are buying is 100% organic. The Soil Association organic symbol is the UK’s largest and most recognisable trademark for organic produce.
Green Nippers collections are made from a range of bright colours, proving that been organic doesn’t mean that you have to limit the colours to bland and boring creams and browns. The colour palette has been created using natural, azo free, non toxic dyes without the use of heavy metals, which are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard.
Green Nippers Debut Collection consists of colourful organic baby grows for babies aged 0 -12 months. Each baby grow has been designed as a smart and practical all-in-one outfit, which are comfortable for the baby to wear and suitable all year round. The baby grows can be worn for babies to sleep, eat and play in, whether they are out and about or just lounging at home. Green Nippers also have a collection of matching accessories; including organic hats, bibs, booties and scratch mittens.
Due to popular demand, Green Nippers clothes will be available up to 5 years from August 2011. Green Nippers Junior Collection will include smart and practical dresses, smock
tops, t-shirts and leggings for girls. For the boys there are a wonderful range of t-shirts, stylish trousers and dungarees. The Junior Collection will also be bright and colourful, using a great range of warm and rich colours such as ruby red, chocolate brown, navy and forest green.
This noticeable benefit of clothes made from organic cotton is that they are so much softer to touch; also organic cotton is cool and comfortable to wear. Organic cotton is softer and gentler for your babies or child’s skin as it consists of longer fibres, this reduces allergic reaction. Eczema effects is very common in babies and young children, and as organic cotton does not contain the finishing chemicals or pesticide residues, such as formaldehyde, which is found in conventional cotton, there is nothing to irritate their delicate skin. Formaldehyde has been linked to allergies such as asthma and eczema.
When I received the Organic baby growI was very impressed with how it looked the colours were bright and the detailing on it was really well done, The Baby grow I received was yellow and pink (Honey and Rose)It had pin tucked detail. collar and double sleeves. It was very soft to touch and hand had poppers down the back and between the legs, very easy to get on my baby.
Its available in sizes 0-3 3-6 6-9 and 9-12 months sizes 0-3 and 3-6 months there sleeves fold over to make scratch mittens.
